ACSF Announces New Board Member Charles O'Dell

The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce the selection of Charles O’Dell, Director of Operations of Sun Air Jets, Camarillo, Calif., as the newest member of the ACSF Board of Governors.

O’Dell, who has 21 years of experience in aviation, began his career as a flight instructor and flew for the U.S. Forest Service. He has held various positions over the years, such as flight department chief pilot, airline captain and check airman.

O’Dell joined Sun Air Jets in 2002 as Director of Operations. An active flight instructor and airline transport pilot, O’Dell has more than 12,300 total flying hours and is type-rated in multiple aircraft. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from California Coast University.

“We are delighted to have Charlie as an addition to the ACSF Board,” said James C. Christiansen, chairman of the ACSF. “His knowledge and experience in the charter industry will be a great contribution to the foundation’s mission and future initiatives.”
