NBAA's Bolen to Provide Live, Interactive No Plane No Gain Report

As the No Plane No Gain advocacy campaign approaches its two-year anniversary, National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) President and CEO Ed Bolen will host a live, interactive webinar detailing the campaign's progress and achievements on December 6 at 1:30 p.m. EST.

The No Plane No Gain campaign, jointly hosted by NBAA and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), was launched during GAMA's major annual event in February 2009 with a mission to educate policymakers and opinion leaders about the value of business aviation to citizens, companies and communities across the United States.

In NBAA's December 6 webinar, Bolen will outline the campaign's major activities and accomplishments since the launch of the program. Webinar participants will be briefed on the nationally-recognized spokespeople recruited for the campaign, as well as the major print and broadcast advertising, outreach to news organizations, use of social media (i.e., Twitter, Facebook), grassroots mobilization and other advocacy initiatives that have helped deliver the campaign's message about the benefits of business aviation.

Bolen will also detail the advocacy resources produced by the campaign to help people in the industry explain the essential nature of business aviation with facts, well-grounded data and illustrative profiles. He will also explain the visible signs of progress in the time since the campaign's launch, including developments in the Washington policymaking community and across the country.

Finally, as part of the webinar, Bolen will take questions and comments about these and other issues in real time from webinar participants.

"When we launched the No Plane No Gain campaign, we committed to keep the industry advised about our work correct misperceptions about business aviation, and ensure that decision-makers in Washington and elsewhere understand the industry's benefits to the nation's economy and transportation system," Bolen said. "I look forward to this webinar, which will provide yet another opportunity for me to discuss the campaign with people in the business aviation community, and hear their feedback."

The December 6 webinar is part of NBAA's On-Demand Education program, and will use Microsoft Live Meeting (R). If you have not attended a Microsoft Live MeetingR event in the past, please review the technical requirements and test your system in advance of the webinar.
