JetEx Opens Luxurious FBO at Le Bourget in Paris

JetEx Paris FBO opened during the Paris Air Show and International Paris Air Show.JetEx opened its newest luxury FBO at Le Bourget Airport (LBG/LFPB) in Paris on June 15.

The new facility boasts 2 VIP lounges, crew rest rooms, full Internet access, quick and easy entrance from the apron and the largest amount of parking for executive aircraft in all of Paris. The ample parking can accommodate aircraft as large as the new Airbus A380.

For the grand opening, which was concurrent with the centennial Paris Air Show and the 48th annual International Paris Air Show, JetEx clients were invited to tour the building and to enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks while viewing the air show from the private terrace.

The facility, formerly the Flying Group FBO, has been remodeled and designed to accommodate heads of state and travelers requiring greater amenities than offered by most typical FBOs and enhanced staff and crew areas. In addition to greater luxury, the FBO also provides the shortest possible distance between aircraft and car.

“JetEx’s new FBO facility will offer the most complete aircraft handling service at one of Europe’s busiest airports,” JetEx CEO Adel Mardini said. “It is our mission to ensure maximum comfort to regional and international corporate and private aircraft travelers. Paris Le Bourget is a marquee location and this V-VIP facility will all allow JetEx to offer a higher level of service to our clients.”

“The company’s long-term strategy is to redefine ground handling and set new standards for FBO quality,” FBO manager Holger Ostmeier said. “The opening of this FBO is an important first step, and we are making all efforts to make sure we have the best-trained staff, the best facilities, the best safety standards and the best of everything else.”

This new FBO is “just the beginning” for JetEx, Mardini said. The company has already taken strides to add new services in new locations including Europe and the countries of the C.I.S. Five additional FBOs are expected.
