Flightline and Team Break Ground on TLH'S New Avant Garde FBO Features

The Tallahassee Regional Airport is fast becoming home to one of the most sophisticated FBOs in the Southeast. New resources under construction at TLH will better position it to service cutting edge general aviation technology, including light jets, according to a press statement announcing the developments.

Flightline Group Inc., a sales and service company which represents top general aviation players including Piper and HondaJet, and Tallahassee municipal partners are investing $20 million in the airport in coming years. The overall site plan includes a training facility, a sales and service facility for HondaJet SouthEast, expanded business facilities and a business-class hotel.

Flightline's decision to invest in TLH's expansion is backed by its ties to local authorities and substantial economic growth in the area, says Molly Martin Pearce, Flightline’s vice president of marketing and corporate communications.

Also, TLH's runways are long enough to accommodate expected growth at the FBO, she adds.

Flightline recently broke ground on one of the initial developments planned for the airport -- a 26,000-square-foot technical service center. It will feature fiber optics communications, a parts sales service function and technical library. Construction on this particular facility is expected to last one year.

Flightline is also an approved service organization for Cessna Aircraft and Cirrus Design Corp.
