Montgomery Aviation Announces TYQ Runway Reconstruction

Montgomery Aviation has announced that Indianapolis Executive Airport (KTYQ) is reconstructing its 5500- by 100-foot runway with $4.3 million of federal stimulus money. The existing asphalt runway will be completely redone in concrete. The 45-day project will begin the first week of May. The runway will be complete by mid-June. This project is the latest of many airport improvements spearheaded by Dan and Andrea Montgomery of Montgomery Aviation.

NBAA Regional Forum Draws Standing Room Crowd

“We want to make sure policymakers and opinion leaders are well aware of the essential role business aviation plays for citizens, companies and communities across the country,” Bolen said.

During his presentation, Bolen showed the No Plane No Gain TV and newspaper ads.

The event, which was hosted by Business Jet Center at its Dallas Love Field location, drew more than 940 attendees and included 54 exhibitors with 24 aircraft on static display.

 

Meridian Air Charter Adds Falcon 900B at KHPN

Meridian Air Charter, the Teterboro, N.J.-based private aviation services company, has added a Falcon 900B to its fleet of charter aircraft. The large-cabin Falcon is based in White Plains, N.Y., (KHPN) and is available for charter. “The Falcon 900B offers versatility unlike any other corporate jet," director of aviation sales Mike Moore said. "Its three-engine design gives it unique capabilities.”

G.ops Supports 1000th Flight in 12 Months

G.ops announced its 1000th ops support on a French business airport flight since March 2008. The flight was operated by FirstFlight on April 2 for a rock band's world tour. "The aircraft, a state-of-the-art Gulfstream G500, departed from LFPT (Pontoise) to KCLE (Cleveland, Ohio) at 23:56, right after the Paris Downtown show," G.ops CEO Karim Berrandou said. "For this very special flight, we supervised the whole process of ground services requested.”
