Sheltair Aviation has announced the passing of its founder and Chairman, Jerry Holland. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on November 18 at the age of 90. A trailblazing businessman, Jerry grew Sheltair Aviation from a single Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) in Florida to an award-winning company spanning nearly five million square feet of real estate, 16 locations across four states, and employing 500 team members.

Sheltair Commences Hangar Expansion at Kissimmee Gateway Airport (KISM)

Sheltair has begun construction to expand its existing hangar facilities at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport (KISM). Since 2001, Sheltair has built and currently manages approximately 115,973 total square feet consisting of 86 individual hangar units. The family-owned aviation company is responding to the increasing need for additional aircraft storage at KISM by starting the construction of its Phase IV development.
