Flight Pro International’s Rick Snider Elected Vice Chair of NBAA Security Council

Flight Pro International (FPI) is pleased to announce that Rick Snider, Director of Contracts and Compliance, has been elected to the Vice Chair role within the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Security Council.

Snider’s installment was made official during the Security Council’s October 19th meeting prior to the opening of NBAA’s annual conference and trade show, the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) — October 20th-22nd, 2026, in the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Flight Pro International can be found at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Booth 1669. Snider will be on hand throughout the show to contribute to NBAA Security Council discussions, host presentations on a wide range of compliance and regulatory topics, and answer questions regarding his role with the Council, his role within FPI, and a variety of other current global compliance matters.

Snider leads an in-house compliance and regulatory team at FPI and has positioned the company to work directly with key regulatory authorities around the globe regarding programs such as:

  • The European Union’s EU-LISA Entry/Exit System (EES) and European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS)

  • The U.S. Customs & Border Protection’s (CBP) Reimbursable Services Program (RSP)

  • The General Aviation Report (GAR) program in the UK

  • The U.S. CDC

  • OFAC Treasury Sanctions

  • Various Emissions Trading Schemes (ETS)

  • and more.

In addition to these programs, Snider has expertise on a wide variety of regulatory concerns, including commerce export restrictions, data privacy protections, and anti-bribery compliance, among other topics.

Under Snider’s leadership, FPI’s Compliance and Regulatory team launched an ongoing webinar series titled, “Connecting the Dots” (CTD), which covers global compliance-related issues and has quickly become an anticipated resource featured in FPI’s monthly “Connections” newsletters. The CTD video archive is free to the public and can be found here: https://flightprointernational.com/connecting-the-dots-a-webinar-series-by-fpi/.

Snider and Jeffrey Basham (Sr. Manager of Compliance) are regular contributors to “Connections” and key industry publications.

“Our goal is to reach, and hopefully provide ongoing education to, operators through a video series in addition to the written articles we periodically publish,” states Snider. “We’re here to do the heavy lifting and to shoulder the burden of the regulatory workload behind the scenes so that our clients and colleagues are informed, equipped, and confidently prepared to navigate trip complexities with ease.”

Snider began his career as a C-130 navigator in the Marine Corp and has also acquired a dispatch license. In 2025, Snider hosted the monthly “Coffee with Customs” webinar series with the U.S. Customs & Border Protection’s (CBP) team.
