Banyan Air Service Receives Nigerian Aircraft Maintenance Organization Certification

Banyan Air Service has officially been certified by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as a Nigerian Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO), further expanding the company's international maintenance capabilities and strengthening its support for operators throughout Africa.

Already an FAA part 145 and EASA-approved repair station, Banyan continues to grow its global regulatory approvals, allowing international operators to receive top-tier maintenance services while operating in the United States.

NCAA officials conducted an extensive review of Banyan's operations manuals, safety management systems, training programs, quality procedures, and technical data to ensure full compliance with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations.

"This certification reflects Banyan's ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest international standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance," said Charles Amento, VP/Director of MRO Services. "We are proud to support Nigerian operators with the same level of expertise and customer service that has made Banyan a trusted maintenance provider for aircraft owners around the world."

With this latest approval, Banyan is now authorized to perform maintenance for Nigerian-registered aircraft, joining a growing list of international certifications that includes Argentina, Aruba, the Bahamas, Brazil, Colombia, the European Union (EASA), and Mexico.

The certification builds on Banyan's longstanding relationship with Nigeria. For many years, the company has supported missionary and humanitarian efforts in Egbe, contributing to projects that include hospitals, a nursing school, and the construction of a new runway that will improve access for future medical and community outreach missions.
