Business Jet Access Receives ARG/US Platinum Re-Certification

Business Jet Access (BJA), a leading aviation services provider, has received a Platinum rating re-certification by Aviation Research Group/US (ARG/US) following a bi-annual audit. In addition, BJA earned certification for Stage 2 of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).

The Platinum rating is the highest designation afforded an FAR Part 135 Aircraft Charter Operator by ARG/US, a Cincinnati, Ohio, based aviation data, research and analysis firm.

In advancing to Stage 2 of IS-BAO Certification, BJA has demonstrated to the International Business Aviation Council a successful integration of their Safety Management System (SMS) into all aspects of daily operation. The IS-BAO certification is a code of best practices designed to help flight departments and charter operators worldwide achieve a high level of safety and professionalism.

“We are very pleased to have met the stringent standards set by these two leading aviation certifying organizations,” said Brian Hoffman, General Manager, Business Jet Access. “As a result, the safety culture we have built internally greatly benefits our key stakeholders to include customers, employees and underwriters.”

Business Jet Access initially gained an ARG/US Platinum designation in 2006 after meeting the criteria for the ARG/US Gold rating as well as successfully passing an on-site safety audit conducted identically to the Department of Defense (DOD) Air Carrier Quality and Safety inspection.
