Atlantic Aviation Introduces Sustainable Aviation Fuel at KLAS During NBAA-BACE

In preparation for the annual NBAA conference Atlantic Aviation has confirmed delivery of Sustainable Aviation Fuel at its KLAS facility. The amount of SAF that was delivered represents approximately 15% of the total fuel volumes expected to be sold during the conference from October 12-14. Atlantic’s strategy is to fully underwrite the cost of the SAF to help offset the carbon footprint of those customers who choose to utilize Atlantic during the conference.

“The effective replacement of traditional JET-A with this delivery of SAF represents another step forward in our commitment to renewable energy and allows our customers to actively participate in the reduction of carbon emissions without shouldering the cost,’’ said Jay Hamby, senior vice president of Atlantic Aviation.‘’

The delivery of SAF at LAS is the latest commitment in a comprehensive Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) program at Atlantic Aviation. SAF follows Atlantic Aviation’s ongoing investment in light-emitting diode (LED) technology, use of electric ground support equipment, and efforts to reduce consumption of plastic and paper consumables. This also includes the recent introduction of SAF and the complete replacement of traditional fossil-based diesel with renewable diesel for ground support equipment at Atlantic’s Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) fixed based operation (FBO).
