ACI Jet Named Bombardier Authorized Service Facility

ACI Jet has been selected as a Bombardier Authorized Service Facility, ACI Jet says.

The San Luis Obispo Regional Airport facility will provide line maintenance work, warranty work and inspections for Bombardier’s Challenger and Global business jets.

ACI Jet expects greater than a 30 percent increase in labor over each of the first two years of authorized Bombardier service. Consequently, ACI Jet says it is actively recruiting 15 immediate, full-time positions including A&P technicians, avionics technicians, managers, inspectors and project managers.

As the San Luis Obispo facility of ACI Jet expects to double the number of aircraft in for service, a 25,000-sq. ft. expansion continues and is scheduled to be ready for use in 2020. Following the expansion, ACI Jet will occupy an 18-acre base and over 80,000 sq. ft. of maintenance, storage and hangar space.
