RocketRoute Acquired by Alyssum Group

Flight planning, fuel and concierge services platform provider RocketRoute has been acquired by Alyssum Group, the new company that owns Victor and was formed to make strategic investments in digital services for general aviation, the companies said.

Alyssum Group plans to build on RocketRoute's FlightPlan service and Marketplace app, which connects pilots and dispatchers to handlers. The companies said in the news release announcing the acquisition that they will integrate the RocketRoute platforms into a "connected digital marketplace" to serve various groups in general aviation — charter operators, charter brokers, suppliers and travelers.

Alyssum Group formed in the wake of an $18 million investment in Victor from BBA Aviation, BP Ventures and others.

RocketRoute and Victor had previously received BP Ventures investments. Both entities have had separate relationships with Air BP.
