Lynx FBO Network at KANE Near Minneapolis Ready for Some Football Traffic
/Lynx FBO Network, which has a facility at Anoka County-Blaine Airport (Jane’s Field) (KANE) near Minneapolis, Minn., is taking reservations from aircraft operators wishing to land close to the site of Super Bowl LII but outside the 10 nm Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) area where GA operations will be prohibited.
“With no TFR, our convenient location has proven to be very popular,” Lynx FBO general manager Mike Agee says.
The driving distance from Anoka County-Blaine Airport is approximately 15 miles. Among the airports outside of the TFR ring, the drive time to U.S. Bank Stadium from his airport is the shortest, Agee says.
The FBO has a large ramp for fueling, deicing and facilitating timely departures, he says.
The Lynx staff has experience handling high numbers of aircraft attracted by major sporting events, Agee says.
