Vote for the Best Aviation Movies in Round Two

Voting for the second round in the Aviation Blockbuster Bracket presented by AC-U-KWIK is open until the end of the day on Wednesday, May 6.

Two of the No. 1 seeds — The Flight of the Phoenix and The Blue Max — lost to more popular people's choices — Airplane! and Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove ... — in the first round. Both Airplane! and Dr. Strangelove ... will need Cinderella-story magic to overcome more tough competition in the next round.

Top Gun, The Right Stuff and 12 O'Clock High advanced to the second round with lopsided first round tallies.

Voting in the quarterfinals will open next Thursday.
