VIS Tracks Flight and Aircraft Status at Vnukovo-3
/VIPPORT Information Services (VIS) provides the ability to track in real time aircraft ground handling status within Vnukovo-3 facilities.
Introduced at EBACE 2010, VIS tracks statuses such as:
- Flight status: crew movements, aircraft ready for passengers boarding, ATD/ATA;
- RAMP operations status: refueling, de-icing, towing, taxing, etc.; and
- Passengers and baggage handling: check in status, boarding.
VIS provides customers a simple and powerful way to get all information regarding flight handling status in Vnukovo-3 from anywhere using just a Web browser.
By the end of year 2010, VIS was extended with another option — VIS.sms. Using this system, customers are able to receive SMS or email notifications with the flight status changes and all additional information on their mobile phones. VIS.sms is a reliable way to get operational information when getting this information on time is essential.
VIPPORT is the first FBO to offer online services to its customers in the European business aviation market. VIS is constantly developing services. In 2011, VIS will monitor flight status at additional destinations, such as Pulkovo (LED) and some others.
