FuelerLinx Launches Revolutionary Interactive Fuel Map

FuelerLinx today released the latest version of its aviation fuel planning software, with a revolutionary new feature that displays operators’ own negotiated contract fuel prices on an interactive route map. The patented new feature, called Axiom Fuel Planner, displays real time fuel prices at all airports in range of every stop on a flight route.

“Until now, operators have never been able to see all of their contract fuel price options surrounding the stops along their route,” said FuelerLinx President Kevin Moller. “Our clients say that if they’re making a tech stop for refueling, they can save 20-40 cents a gallon by landing at an airport less than 50 miles from their planned stop. The Axiom Fuel Planner map lets you compare all nearby fuel prices to save the most money.”

With the Axiom Fuel Planner, FuelerLinx users can enter a multi-leg flight and see their route on an interactive map. The map displays the aircraft’s maximum and reserve range from every stop, based on the performance of the business jet make and model; great-circle distance due to the curvature of the earth; and live data on winds aloft. Operators can specify a radius from each stop to compare fuel prices at FBOs and airports within 25 to 125 miles in every direction. Using the map simplifies decisions on where to buy fuel along the route, when to tanker, and how much.

“The Axiom Fuel Planner is a game changing tool,” said Alexandria Williams, Director of Client Relations. “Before, operators had to download spreadsheets from their contract fueler, find their best price at each FBO for each stop on their route, and then repeat that process for every fuel network they subscribe to. They certainly couldn’t see fuel prices at nearby airports. With the new map feature, they can visualize all that information at once. We think it will completely transform fuel planning for business operators.”

FuelerLinx not only lets operators compare their own negotiated fuel prices from many different suppliers, it also includes up-to-date ramp fees for over 600 FBOs (and counting), to factor in all costs associated with fueling. It can also recommend volume discounts from purchasing one extra gallon, place purchase orders, reconcile fuel bills and generate reports. The software, including the new Axiom Fuel Planner is also accessible on Apple iPads. With the new map feature, FuelerLinx for the first time combines market data on contract fuel prices, ramp fees and volume discounts with navigational data on aircraft performance and current winds aloft in one interactive map.

“With the Axiom Fuel Planner feature, FuelerLinx is even more powerful,” said Kevin Moller.
