CABAA Safety Stand-Down 2011

Members and non-members of CABAA, including Flight Department Managers, Pilots, Mechanics, Schedulers/Dispatchers and aviation service providers are invited to join in promoting the shared interest of Business Aviation safety. The Chicago Area Business Aviation Association (CABAA) Safety Stand-Down will take place Thursday May 5, 2011, at the Hilton Garden Inn, West Chicago (across from the DuPage Airport). 

CABAA has invited some of the aviation industry’s most entertaining, dynamic and impactful speakers, including:


Robert Sumwalt – National Transportation Safety Board
Peter Agur – President/Founder - The VanAllen Group
Walter Chartrand –Training & Programs Manager, Air BP Aviation Services
Alan W. Dean – Chief Safety Officer, Boeing Aircraft Company

In addition, for the first time ever, participants in the 2011 CABAA Safety Stand-Down will be eligible to gain one (1) credit point toward completion or recertification for the NBAA Certified Aviation Managers (CAM) Program.

Continental Breakfast, Lunch and a Cocktail/Networking Reception will be provided for all attendees. Discounted hotel accommodations will also be available.
