Business Jet Access Adds King Air 350

Business Jet Access' King Air 350.

Business Jet Access (BJA), a leading aviation services provider, has added a King Air 350 to its FAR Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate. The aircraft, which has a seating configuration for eight passengers, is a low-time 2006 model with a maximum range of 1440 nautical miles.

“This King Air 350 is an exceptional aircraft that will offer our customers a value-added charter option,” Jamie Rose, Executive Flight Solutions Manager for BJA, said. “Our client base, especially those in the energy-exploration business, will find this aircraft ideal for one- to two-hour flights into remote areas with perhaps shorter runways.”

Rose said the aircraft is well equipped with club/conference seating, enclosed lavatory, DVD/CD with individual monitors, Air Show moving map display and Freon Ground Air Conditioning. In the cockpit, the aircraft is equipped with Rockwell/Collins Pro Line 21 Avionics. The base rate for the aircraft is $1700 per flight hour.

BJA, which has obtained a Platinum rating by Aviation Research Group/US (ARG/US), has a total of seven aircraft on its Air Carrier Certificate including a BAC 1-11 with 30 executive seats, two Citation VIIs and one of each of the following: Gulfstream III, Hawker 850XP, Challenger 300 and the King Air 350.

In addition to achieving the ARG/US Platinum rating, BJA is an authorized air carrier for conducting flights into and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). BJA was the first FAR Part 135 aircraft charter provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since Sept. 11, 2001, to gain this authorization.
