Tell Us How You are Doing!

By John Enticknap and Ron Jackson, Aviation Business Strategies Group ABSGgroup.com

As we turn the calendar page to 2023, it’s time for our Annual FBO Fuel Sales Survey. This is an opportunity for you to let us know how your fuel sales fared for 2022 compared to 2021 and help us predict what 2023 has in store for the industry.

We’d also like your opinion on several key issues including:

  • What are the biggest concerns or obstacles confronting your FBO?

  • What are the main issues facing the FBO Industry?

  • Is the economy headed in the right direction?

  • Will you be offering SAF this year?

We invite all FBO owners, operators and mangers to complete this survey. Simply Click Here to get started. There are only 4 short multiple choice questions and a place to add your comments.

All responses are anonymous. ABSG will include the results of this survey in our Annual FBO Fuel Sales Survey Results & Industry Forecast which will be published in next month’s blog post.

Past surveys have provided key insights, not only about the state of the FBO industry with regard to fuel sales, but also the level of confidence in the economy. For instance, here are the results for the past four years regarding the question: In your opinion, is the economy headed in the right direction:

When we publish the results of our survey next month, we will be including a report on business aircraft flight activity throughout the U.S. as this is a major indicator for potential aircraft arrivals on FBO ramps and future fuel sales. As we reported in our post NBAA blog, several FBOs said that they were experiencing a leveling off of flight activity, and in some cases a decline, after a year of increased activity.
