Odyssey Aviation at KNEW in New Orleans will celebrate its grand opening on March 10.

The FBO's original facility at Lakefront Airport was damaged during Hurricane Katrina. Now, it is ready to show off its new digs.

NASA Astronauts Present Patch to Front Line Employees of Million Air

Mission Spc. Jose Hernandez and Cmdr. Rick “C.J.” Sturkow of NASA’s Discovery STS‐128 mission presented a specially designed Million Air patch, which accompanied them into space, at Million Air headquarters in Houston. The idea was conceived by NASA research pilot Nebojsa “Solo” Solunac who also participated in the presentation. Solunac, a long-time Million Air customer and friend wanted to do something special for the Million Air front line teams.

AOPA Foundation President to Address Atlanta Aero Club

Karen Gebhart, president of the AOPA Foundation, is the featured guest speaker at the March 2 Atlanta Aero Club meeting. Gebhart’s presentation will address the challenges and opportunities facing general aviation and how individual engagement can help promote and protect freedom to fly. The meeting is scheduled for noon on March 2 in the Grand Ballroom of the Capital City Club, 7 Harris St., in downtown Atlanta. The cost is $30 for members and $40 for non-members. The admission price includes lunch.
