"Trip Planner" and "Trip Notifications" Features Expand Flightproconnect.Com's Existing Trip Management Capabilities

Flight Pro International (FPI) is pleased to announce additional upgrades to their custom trip management software, Flight Pro Connect (“FPC”, flightproconnect.com), an annually pen-tested, cloud-based, and centralized trip management software built for schedulers, operators, and crew.

FPC was initially enhanced with the “Trip Planner” platform, which provides immediate access to a wide breadth of trip planning research data points, including 25,000+ searchable airports, 190+ countries supported, thousands of continuously updated airport records, and continuous monitoring by the Special Services Network (SSN), FPI’s highly-vetted global, in-country service partners.

From either desktop or mobile devices, users are able to quickly leverage the full scope of operational details offered, including: Airport Intelligence (operating hours, restrictions, advisories, alternate airports, etc.), Regulatory (CIQ, Airport of Entry requirements, landing permits, etc.), Operational Resources (FBO profiles, ground handlers, facility views, flight operational documents, etc.), airport weather, and NOTAMs.

Inside the Trip Planner, comprehensive searches can be conducted using ICAO, IATA, airport name, city, or country, giving operators instant access to the information they need from a single interface.

In 2026, FPI upgraded the Trip Planner with expanded facility views which include arrival photos, interactive facility maps, and intelligence from FPI’s preferred handlers tasked with continuously validating local information.

Further amplifying the real-time benefits of the Trip Planner is the recently added “Trip Notifications” feature: a comprehensive operational awareness platform designed to keep flight crews, schedulers, dispatchers, and operations teams informed of critical events throughout every stage of a trip.

Upon launching, Trip Notifications quickly evolved into a highly-customizable communications tool with the ability to tailor preferences and settings to match individual roles — from schedulers requiring detailed operational updates to executives who only need high-level trip status visibility.

The feature monitors a broad range of activities including (but not limited to): Airport and regulatory services, landing and overflight permits, slots, PPR, ground handling, parking, fuel requests and releases, hotels, transportation, catering, flight planning, flight briefs, weather updates, itinerary changes, and more.

As services are confirmed or operational changes occur, notifications are delivered immediately to the appropriate personnel, ensuring everyone remains informed without unnecessary communication or distractions. Notifications can be personalized by delivery method (including email and/or text), as well as scope, timing, frequency, information category, and administrative permissions.

“The Trip Planner provides a constant stream of refreshed and accurate data while Trip Notifications communicates trip management updates customized to the individual,” states Roberto Cormack, FPI’s Executive VP and CIO. “This ensures that users always have the right information at the right time delivered to the right person, empowering smarter, faster decisions when every moment counts.”
