Flight Display Systems Contributes to NASA’s Project SOFIA

Flight Display Systems contributed to the success of NASA’s flying observatory, Project SOFIA, by designing and building a custom 20” LCD monitor. The monitor was installed in the stratospheric observatory used to monitor infrared emissions from space.

Chino-Based Threshold Technologies, Inc. to Take Part in NASA’S High Ice Water Content Flight Campaign

Threshold Technologies, Inc. (TTI) recently announced it will provide a Gulfstream II (GII) aircraft to participate in NASA’s High Ice Water Content (HIWC) flight campaign. Threshold and sister company Aviation Maintenance Group (AMG) will also provide maintenance and support for the aircraft throughout the project.

NASA Astronauts Present Patch to Front Line Employees of Million Air

Mission Spc. Jose Hernandez and Cmdr. Rick “C.J.” Sturkow of NASA’s Discovery STS‐128 mission presented a specially designed Million Air patch, which accompanied them into space, at Million Air headquarters in Houston. The idea was conceived by NASA research pilot Nebojsa “Solo” Solunac who also participated in the presentation. Solunac, a long-time Million Air customer and friend wanted to do something special for the Million Air front line teams.
