Phillips 66 Aviation Opens Nominations for the Second Annual Safe Sky Award

The inaugural honor was presented to Business Jet (KDAL) of Dallas, Texas, at the 2025 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Business Jet’s commitment to safety, advanced technology, and comprehensive training programs set a high benchmark in aviation fuel handling, earning them the prestigious award. This year’s honoree will continue to uphold that standard.
To be considered for the Phillips 66® Aviation Sky Award, nominees will be evaluated across three key categories that define excellence in the general aviation fuel industry:
Aviation Fuel Safety Performance: Demonstrating an ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest safety protocols and exceeding industry standards.
Program Innovation: Recognizing forward-thinking initiatives and implementation of innovative fuel safety programs or procedures that set new benchmarks in the industry.
Leadership: Recognizing those who foster a safety culture and motivate both staff and customers to prioritize fuel safety and operational excellence at every level.
The nomination period for the Safe Sky Award is from December 1, 2025, to February 13, 2026. The honoree will be announced and recognized during a special ceremony at the 2026 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in Cleveland, Ohio. The recipient will receive a distinguished award to display at their FBO location, symbolizing their leadership and commitment to aviation fuel safety.
