Geneva Airpark Reports Increased Activity in 2024

With some increases of around 10%, a confirmed trend for the hangaring of aircraft out of the winter season and a wide variety of aircraft sheltered, Geneva Airpark records an increase in its activities for 2024 and the winter of 2024/2025.

The resident fleet of aircraft with an annual option hosted by Geneva Airpark includes a wide variety of business jets, from the Pilatus PC-12 to the Bombardier Global 7500. This diversity increased in 2024 and early 2025, with the integration of new aircraft of all sizes, such as the Embraer Phenom 300, the PC-12, the Cessna Citation M2, or the Dassault Falcon 8X and the Gulfstream 700 for very long-haul flights. The entire resident fleet managed year-round by Geneva Airpark comprises a total of 16 different types of aircraft.

The trend of higher demand outside winter months (November to March), which began in 2023, continued in 2024, with demand increasing, particularly in the months of June to August: 25% of the annual demand vs 11% in 2023. This growth is driven by the arrival of customers with different needs and profiles to the usual clientele, including a tradition of sheltering throughout the year, regardless of weather considerations.

In total, for the whole of 2024, Geneva Airpark teams carried out nearly 7,000 towing operations: almost 3,500 movements related to entry and exit for flights, in addition to all the movements for operational reasons such as hangar reorganization and exit/entry for maintenance services. In addition to towing operations for aircraft arrivals and departures, Geneva Airpark performed nearly 30,000 services across all categories.
