Flight Pro International Announces Latest Expansion with New Office at Farnborough Airport
/Flight Pro International (FPI) is pleased to announce the recent opening of their new UK-based office at Farnborough Airport (EGLF/FAB), one of the busiest regions of the world for general aviation.
Since Flight Pro’s inception in 2020, Farnborough Airport has proven to be central to FPI’s business development within the region — an importance underscored by continuous year-over-year growth in FPI client movements through Farnborough.
For that reason, FPI had steadily increased trip supervisory personnel to the UK (Luton) team throughout 2024 and 2025, now culminating with the new Farnborough office to support that growth. In January of 2026, FPI increased their global family of dedicated supervisory representatives by bringing on Jo Sutherden and Kelly Long to the UK team, to operate specifically from the new Farnborough office.
“Since the year 2020, our UK aviation handling business has experienced year-over-year double-digit growth,” states Alan Owen, Senior Manager, FPI (UK). “We’ve continued to recruit talent to not only sustain our growth, but more importantly to continue increasing the volume of the white glove services that our clients expect.”
Based within the terminal, the Farnborough office provides greater support for FPI’s visiting and locally-based clients, while simultaneously building upon relationships with the airport and its vendors.
“Our specialty is as a fully dedicated service management firm for our clients, which is especially valuable at notoriously busy UK-based airports,” Owen continues. “While FBOs and regular handling agents are dealing with numerous flights and related facility issues, the UK team is solely focused on FPI’s clientele aircraft operations.”
“Considering Farnborough’s own plans to increase weekend movements, their many high-quality vendors on premises, along with their excellent engineering support for Gulfstream and Bombardier, both Farnborough and FPI are well-poised to continue increasing best-in-class services to the private aviation market in that region.”
FPI’s UK headquarters is based in London (Luton), and special arrangements can be made for FPI’s UK team to physically cover airports further afield, such as in the Midlands, Scotland, and Ireland.
FPI-UK services include:
Tasks beyond typical FBO services, including securing landing slots, flight plan filing, and Eurocontrol slot timing adjustments (minimizing departure delays due to tight European AirNav slot restrictions)
Liaising with established handling organizations, including off-airport catering, ground transport, hotel, and other service vendors
Being credentialed for covering the UK Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax required for operations into the UK (operators need only register directly with FPI for FPI representation on this mandatory requirement)
Communication with regulators and CAA to stay ahead of the curve in order to deliver the most current, accurate news and trip-impacting information well in advance of client flights
