American Aero Receives Inaugural Everest Fuel Preferred Award

American Aero FTW, a fixed-base operator at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (KFTW), was among the first FBOs in the nation to receive the inaugural Everest Fuel Preferred Award at the 2019 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference this week.

Everest Fuel, a leading supplier of contract fuel services, established the award to distinguish its highest performing FBOs for exceptional facilities, service and fuel safety. Selection criteria included an on-site audit confirming adherence to ATA 103 fuel quality control procedures and NATA Safety 1st or other equivalent training for line service personnel.

American Aero was also one of the first FBOs to earn IBAC’s IS-BAH Stage 1 and Stage 2 certifications. In 2018, American Aero became the first FBO in the world to be awarded Stage 3 certification. IS-BAH incorporates a safety management system in all aspects of FBO operations and is aligned with International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) standards.
