FBOs Get Shout-out in Hip-Hop Song

While scanning FM radio this fall, a line in a hip-hop song caught our ear:

She's in love with who I am
Back in high school, I used to bus it to the dance
Now I hit the FBO with duffels in my hands
I did half a Xan', 13 hours 'til I land
Had me out like a light, ayy, yeah
Like a light, ayy, yeah

Those lines make up the hook Drake raps in the Travis Scott song "Sicko Mode." The video embedded above jumps right to the relevant part of the song. The video embedded below will play the full song. Some of the language in the song is not safe for work. Parental discretion is advised!

We have seen FBOs on numerous TV shows and movies for years and know of songs alluding to jets. We are not aware of any other references to FBOs in pop songs, though. If you are aware of any, note them in the comments.

Now that the concept of FBOs has arrived in pop music, we'll be listening for a follow-up song in which Drake or Travis Scott explain how they found the FBO where they are departing for that 13-hour flight.

Maybe it'll go a little something like this:

Gotta find an FBO
Which one should I pick?
Pull out my iPhone
Open up my AC-U-KWIK
