Business Jet Cares Raises Nearly $30,000 for Kerr County Flood Relief

Business Jet’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Business Jet Cares, has successfully raised $29,737.65 to support victims of the devastating floods that struck Kerr County, Texas, in early July 2025.

The fundraising initiative, which ran throughout the month of July, exceeded its original goal of $25,000 thanks to widespread support from the aviation community. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to aid recovery efforts in the region.

The catastrophic flooding that began on July 4th resulted in at least 119 confirmed fatalities in Kerr County alone, with two individuals still reported missing. The disaster caused an estimated $1.1 billion in damage, with more than 2,000 structures affected across the area. The Guadalupe River rose approximately eight meters in a matter of hours during the flash flood, which began around 3 a.m. when heavy rainfall surged down mountain slopes.
