Kirksville Regional Airport (IRK) Joins Avfuel Network

Kirksville Regional Airport (IRK) has joined the Avfuel network of FBOs to offer Avfuel Contract Fuel, AVTRIP points and more. Under the agreement Avfuel will supply its award-winning marketing programs and support, fuel and related aviation services.

“Avfuel warmly welcomes Kirksville Regional Airport into the Avfuel family. This airport and FBO offer attentive, fast service with competitive prices—a philosophy that resonates deeply with Avfuel,” said Marci Ammerman, Vice President, Marketing, at Avfuel.

Founded in the 1930s and severing both general and scheduled aviation business, Kirksville Regional Airport boasts the longest runway in North Missouri, over 6,000 feet. The full-service FBO offers 24-7 Jet A and avgas into wing or single point, ASOS, ILS, GPU, catering, free WiFi, flight planning room, and next-generation ADSB airspace technology. Additional amenities include a pilot’s lounge and courtesy car. The airspace over Kirksville Regional Airport has eight intersecting victor routes and little air congestion, making the airport an ideal quick-turn fuel stop. The FBO is known for setting fuel prices below regional averages, meaning customers save money as well as time.

Kirksville is also proud to announce the arrival of North Scout Aviation Airframe, Powerplant and Avionics business, coming this fall.

“The Kirksville Regional Airport facility is uniquely located and equipped to handle any aircraft with speed, efficiency and safety,” said Airport Director Glenn Balliew. He points out that regardless of where a trip originates, Kirksville is a convenient and well-priced option. “North, south, east to west: we’re halfway to everywhere. As many already know, Kirksville is one of the best kept secrets in the aviation market for quick turns, low fuel prices and full service.”
