Last Man on the Moon to Leave Lasting Impression at CBAA 2009

Captain Eugene Cernan, the last man to leave his footprints on the moon, will be CBAA 2009’s Keynote Speaker at the Keynote Speaker Luncheon to be held on Friday, May 29, and to be hosted by Bombardier Aerospace.

During 20 years as a Naval Aviator, including 13 with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Captain Eugene A. Cernan (Gene) has left his mark on history with three historic space missions as the Pilot of Gemini IX, the Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo X and as Commander of Apollo XVII. After flying to the moon not once – but twice – Capt. Cernan holds the distinction of being the second American to walk in space. And he is the last person to have left his footprints on the lunar surface.

Cernan has worked with Bombardier Aerospace since 2001.

This year promises to be CBAA’s most successful convention to date and we are pleased to offer top speakers including Captain Cernan in the line-up. For more information, please visit www.cbaa.ca.
