Jet Source Adds Luxurious Bombardier Challenger 601 to Its Fleet of Chartered Aircraft

Jet Source, a full-service aviation firm headquartered at the McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, Calif., has announced a new addition to its fleet of chartered aircraft. The Bombardier Challenger 601 (model Challenger 601-1A/3A) provides up to six hours of travel time to reach destinations up to 3,450 miles. Now, Jet Source charter clients have a superior choice when making their next travel plans to destinations such as New York, Hawaii and Mexico.

Jet Source anticipates the Bombardier Challenger to be in high demand because it accommodates up to 10 passengers with luxurious seating options such as six leather club seats and four-place divan. Travel times range up to six and a half hours, with chartered packages available that include concierge service, gourmet meals and the accompaniment of a cabin attendant along with the piloting crew.

With true jet-setter style, the Bombardier Challenger features a white exterior with blue and silver stripes, mirroring the interior style of warm beige leather, hues of light blue and brown accents. The aircraft features a full galley for in-flight dining, where travelers can enjoy their favorite gourmet foods and fine drinks through Jet Source’s concierge service; AirShow, which provides the passenger with real-time flight status highlighting visual graphics, maps and safety data; entertainment including a CD and DVD player as well as an in-cabin monitor for movies or presentations. With total luggage capacity at 30 cubic feet, travelers can bring along all the necessary equipment to enjoy their trip upon arrival – the Bombardier Challenger provides luggage capacity for eight sets of golf clubs, luggage, ski equipment and more.

“We’re thrilled to bring this highly demanded Bombardier Challenger to Jet Source,” Megan Cunningham, Vice President of charter services, said. “Our clients enjoy their travel experience to the east coast – whether it’s for business in Manhattan or summer fun in the Hamptons, southern Californians now have another option to experience luxury travel aboard a private jet.”
