NBAA Welcomes Sen. Roberts' Amendment to Halt LightSquared Funding

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) welcomed a legislative amendment from Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) to a funding bill that would prohibit the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from spending federal funds to deploy LightSquared's 4G broadband technology, until it can be proven the technology will not interfere with global positioning system (GPS) receivers.

Concierge staff is on-hand at the FBO to assist with hotel reservations, rental cars/transportation, and entertainment and/or business needs in Southern California area.

ACSF Auditor Class Draws Record Attendance

Last week, the Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) held an auditor training class on the ACSF Industry Audit Standard (IAS), at the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Training Center in Ashburn, Va. The class provided two days of learning and discussion on the audit process, procedures and skill sets necessary to implement and perform effective operational audits using the IAS.
