AOPA’s Craig Fuller to Speak December 8th

Craig Fuller, President and CEO of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), will be the featured guest speaker at the regular bi–monthly meeting of the Atlanta Aero Club scheduled for December 8, 2011.

Fuller became the President and CEO of AOPA on Jan. 1, 2009, and is only the fourth person to hold this position since AOPA was founded in 1939. He brings to this position a career that includes senior public affairs positions in business, association leadership, and executive positions in the federal government, including eight years of service in the White House from 1981 to 1989. 

AOPA membership has grown to more than 400,000 and represents more than two thirds of all certificated pilots in the United States. Fuller’ staff, numbering more than 200 professionals and with operations in two states and the District of Columbia, provides a wide variety of services to AOPA members worldwide.

The meeting is scheduled for Noon on December 8, in the Grand Ballroom of the Capital City Club, 7 Harris St., downtown Atlanta, Ga. The cost is $40 for members and $45 for non-members and includes lunch.  A networking hour begins at 11:00 am with check in at 11:30 am.
