Pentastar Aviation, a leader in the world of business aviation, is pleased to announce team members Krissy Ross and Doug Levangie have been recognized by the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) with 2018-2019 Industry Excellence Awards. NATA, one of the most respected associations in the business aviation industry, made the announcement in a press release on May 2nd.

Ross, Customer Service Supervisor at Pentastar, was awarded the NATA FBO (Fixed Based Operation) Customer Service Representative (CSR) Award that recognizes the valuable impact FBO CSRs have on the success of the business aviation industry. She is the inaugural recipient of this award and was chosen for her unwavering commitment to service, a solid work ethic, and focus on building long-term relationships with her clients.

“Krissy has helped our company thrive by building long-term relationships with our valued customer base and delivering on a reputation of helpful, friendly CSRs that go above and beyond,” said Pentastar Aviation Vice President of FBO Services, Robert Sarazin. “Krissy has mastered the art of anticipating our clients’ needs and ensuring they receive the excellent treatment and amenities they expect from our facility. She’s a perfect example of what makes a world-class CSR. Her knowledge and experience has allowed us to remain one of the most awarded private aviation companies in the country for over a decade.”

Levangie, Vice President of Maintenance Operations & Advisory Services, received the ATP/NATA General Aviation Service Technician Award which acknowledges the exceptional performance of a licensed airframe and power plant mechanic or radio repairman who has practiced his or her craft for a period of 20 or more years. Levangie received this award for being a diligent and steadfast promoter of airworthiness and quality standards, business ethics, and superior customer service.

“As a 36-year aviation industry veteran, Doug has consistently maintained the highest expectations for airworthiness and quality standards, business ethics and customer service, not only for himself but also for those reporting to him within the organization,” said Pentastar Executive Vice President of Sales & Maintenance, Brad Bruce. “He has left a positive mark on the standards of professionalism within the business aviation industry and our company. His can-do attitude is ever present, and can be counted on every time, regardless of the circumstance or challenge.”

“Everyone at Pentastar congratulates both Krissy and Doug on these well-deserved awards,” said Pentastar President & CEO, Greg Schmidt. “To be recognized by NATA is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to their personal and business ethics.”

Ross began her career with Pentastar over 30 years ago while Levangie began his career with Pentastar 34 years ago. They will both be recognized along with the other award recipients during a presentation luncheon held in conjunction with NATA’s Annual Meeting and Aviation Business Conference in Washington, D.C. in June.
