Avfuel Strengthens Western Network with Addition of Five Rivers Jet Center
/Avfuel Corporation, the leading independent supplier of aviation fuel and services, proudly welcomed Five Rivers Jet Center in Riverton, Wyoming, to its branded network, effective August 11.
The partnership came as Five Rivers assumed ownership of the sole FBO at Central Wyoming Regional Airport (KRIW), marking the company’s second location. Its flagship FBO at California’s Livermore Municipal Airport (KLVK)—Five Rivers Aviation—serves as an ideal tech stop for Hawaii-bound flights.
Upon the acquisition, Five Rivers Jet Center expanded its offerings to include a full complement of ground support, premium fueling, lavatory and water services, and oxygen at KRIW. The jet center’s existing 18,650-square-foot facility will undergo planned renovations to create a state-of-the-art customer experience with a modern lobby, 15 individual offices, a well-equipped pilot lounge, a full kitchen and private showers.
“Five Rivers’ expansion into Wyoming further strengthens its reputation as a premier FBO provider and brings enhanced services to operators traveling through central Wyoming,” said Jonathan Boyle, Avfuel’s vice president of sales for contract fuel and bulk fuel. “Avfuel is proud to welcome Five Rivers Jet Center to our branded network as we work together to deliver a seamless customer experience.”
Located approximately 120 miles east of Jackson, Wyoming, Five Rivers Jet Center provides operators with a convenient alternative to larger airports and congested airspace, serving SkyWest, regional cargo carriers and general aviation traffic. Its 10,000-square-foot heated hangar can accommodate aircraft with a wingspan of up to 60 feet, and provides secure storage for both based and transient aircraft. Additionally, a full complement of ground service equipment—including de-ice capabilities—is being introduced to a previously underserved market.
“Expanding to Riverton is an exciting opportunity to bring the Five Rivers experience to a new market,” said Pete Sandhu, CEO of Five Rivers. “We’re excited to build upon the facility and services already in place, and enhance our offerings for the central Wyoming aviation community. We look forward to providing all operators with a convenient, comfortable and high-quality stop.”
As part of the Avfuel Network, Five Rivers Jet Center provides customers with lucrative rewards with AVTRIP and competitive prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel. Customers also benefit from transaction ease when using the Avfuel Pro Card at the FBO with the ability to put everything—fuel and non-fuel items with or without a fuel purchase—on one transaction, avoiding processing fees. Additionally, Five Rivers Jet Center leverages the Avfuel Training System to ensure its certified staff are fully equipped to meet FAA fuel safety and operational standards.
