We aren’t just “a” tech-stop, we are “your” tech-stop. We are an extension of your flight department. We must always be up-to-date with the current information, trends and needs to earn a positive referral and be at the ready for new inquiries. Relationships with the flight departments and vendors are the key. We participate in a variety of conferences, regional events, aviation organizations as well as face-to-face meetings around the world.

3) What new features do you have at your location(s)?

Enhanced Western catering and authentic Chinese cuisine. New, larger, secure catering storage for safety, quality assurance and to keep up with the greater demand. Interpreters of many Asian languages and dialects. More CBP Officers to be at the ready to process your flight at our on-site US Customs and Immigration office.  Alaska Aerofuel is a true-one-stop shop. The main lobby just got new carpet, too! 

4) What services/amenities do you provide?

Convenient arrangements - Let us be your local concierge and book your hotel, rental cars, etc. Many come with additional discounts though our partnerships. Along with Alaska Aerofuel’s big service and big heart, it is the little things, too. What better snack than freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies? (And yes, you can take some to go.) There are two varieties of North Pole Coffee Roasting Company coffee. We’ve just incorporated North America award winning tea from the local tea master at SippingStreams Tea Company, which has proven very popular with our international clients. Come June-early-September, adorn the cabin of your aircraft with the coveted, cut-that-day, fresh peonies as the greater Fairbanks region is the world’s supplier of peonies during those months.

5) Date your company started business?

April 1982 – from a couple guys and one truck to a fleet of over 75 pieces of varying fuel trucks and supporting equipment, companywide. 

6) How many people on staff?

The company currently employs 70, with more seasonally. Many at Alaska Aerofuel have a passion for, and are active in aviation adding that special touch and understanding of flight departments’ needs. Loyalty, commitment, and longevity are hallmarks of our staff.   

7) What is your location or locations?

PAFA for FBO Services. Seasonally we are at GAL and PAFB, and self-serve availability at PANN. We are also occasionally at remote airports under contract via the State of Alaska.
