FBO Aerocardal Limitada Joins the Air Elite Network

At the 2014 Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE 2014) today, World Fuel Services announced that FBO Aerocardal Limitada, located at the AMB - Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (Santiago International Airport - SCEL) in Santiago, Chile, has joined the growing Air Elite® Network. FBO Aerocardal is the Air Elite Network’s first South American FBO.

FBO Aerocardal Limitada (www.aerocardal.com) operates a newly renovated, full service FBO, charter operation, and maintenance facility at the Santiago International Airport. FBO Aerocardal’s terminal facility is one of the largest of its kind in Latin America at 715 square meters. The 24/7 FBO offers all of the modern aircraft services expected of a world class operation. Aircraft fueling, cleaning, flight planning room and crew rest area are just some of the services offered to flight crews. Parking and hanger storage are both conveniently made available through their 11,000 square meter ramp and almost 3,000 square meters of hangar space. FBO Aerocardal is the only FBO with refueler trucks at the Santiago International Airport and an array of closed circuit TV cameras add an extra level of safety and security for passengers and crew alike.

Passengers enjoy the welcoming executive terminal featuring convenient customs & immigration arrangements with separate rooms for domestic and international boarding. In addition to this, FBO Aerocardal also offers onsite car rental services, restroom and shower facilities, additional transportation arrangement services as well as assistance with hotel reservations.

“We are very excited to be the first to bring the Air Elite service designation to Latin America. It has always been the goal of our team to provide the very best of service to private aviation travelers in Santiago and we feel that this aligns perfectly with the Air Elite Diamond Difference. We look forward to years of success with the Air Elite Network” said Ricardo Real, FBO Aerocardal’s General Manager.

With the addition of FBO Aerocardal Limitada, the Air Elite Network now has 31 locations worldwide. The network was established in late 2011 and each FBO must meet a number of airport, facility and service quality standards to qualify for membership.
