President Of FlightSafety To Address Atlanta Aero Club

Whitman joined FlightSafety International in 1961 as Assistant to the President after two years as Senior Executive Assistant with the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). He was later elected Vice President and a Director of the company and was named Executive Vice President in 1962. He was promoted to his present position in 2003.

During his distinguished career, Whitman has served on the Associate Membership Advisory Council of the (NBAA) and Board of Governors and Executive Committees of the FlightSafety Foundation and the Civil Air Patrol. He is also a former Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Petroleum Helicopters and chaired the Nominating, Compensation and Governance Committees of the Aviall Board of Directors. Currently he is a Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee of PASSUR Aerospace and Co-Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Nominating Committee of the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation.

The meeting is scheduled for Noon on January 10th in the Grand Ballroom of the Capital City Club, 7 John Portman St.., downtown Atlanta.  The cost is $40 for members and $45 for non-members and includes lunch.  Check in and a networking hour begins at 11:00 am.
