FBO Aerocardal services The Rolling Stones’ to kick-off tour

FBO Aerocardal, an Air Elite FBO located at the AMB - Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (Santiago International Airport - SCEL), had the honor of serving the legendary British rock band The Rolling Stones on February 2-3, 2016. The band visited Santiago to kick off their América Latina Olé Tour 2016. With the help of Aerocardal’s professional staff and on-site customs & immigration services, the band was able to swiftly and flawlessly enter and exit the country before departing for their next concert venue in Argentina.
The band arrived on a Boeing 767 and departed for Buenos Aries on a Boeing 787. Both wide-body aircraft were easily accommodated by the FBO’s 11,000 square meters of ramp space. Passengers, crew, and aircraft were all watched over closely by the FBO’s large array of closed circuit TV security cameras through the duration of their time at the airport.
“It was truly an honor for such high-profile visitors to Santiago to choose our FBO as their service provider and private terminal. Our staff was happy that we could make their arrival and departure run smoothly, especially through our arrangements with the customs & immigration authorities. Their experience was a testament to our team’s ability to provide exceptional Air Elite Diamond Service and secure, professional ground handling, no matter how high-profile the clientele,” said Marco Nuñez, Aerocardal’s FBO Manager.
FBO Aerocardal has been named the official handler of the International Air & Space Fair, FIDAE for aircraft less than 43 tons. The event is the main aerospace exhibition of Latin America and will be taking place in Santiago from March 29 – April 3. For over 35 years, FIDAE has gathered the world's representatives of civil-commercial aviation, defense, aircraft maintenance, airport equipment & services, homeland security and space technology. As a special promotion, Aerocardal is offering 1,000 bonus FlyBuys Rewards Points to customers who choose their FBO during the event.
