TWG Aviation to Build New Hangar at Dallas Love Field
/TWG Aviation LTD (TWG), a leading provider of business aviation services operating under the trade names of Business Jet Access (BJA) and Business Jet Center (BJC), announced plans to build a new hangar at Dallas Love Field (DAL).
Construction of the planned 27,500-square-foot hangar will begin immediately as demand for additional hangar space at both BJA and BJC continues to grow.
“The need for additional hangar space is the result of demand from both our aircraft managed customers with Business Jet Access as well as aircraft owners that want their aircraft based at Business Jet Center,” said Mike Wright, a Partner in TWG. “As the economy continues to improve, we will be in position to accommodate the needs of our ever expanding customer base.”
The new hangar will be built on the West side of Love Field next to the Business Jet Access facility acquired by TWG in October 2010. It will feature 28-foot-tall doors and will be capable of accommodating multiple aircraft as large as the Gulfstream 650.
After extensive renovations in late 2011, Business Jet Access moved its FAA Part 145 Repair Station along with its aircraft charter and management services to the new facility located on 7.5 acres along Denton Drive.
With the addition of the new Hangar, TWG Aviation’s business holdings will have a total of 31.5 acres with 280,000 square feet of hangar, terminal and office space, 20 acres of reinforced concrete ramp and two underground fuel storage facilities.
