Million Air has acquired Signature Flight Support's former Hawker Beechcraft facility at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND). As of Sept. 15, Million Air began operating the fixed-base operation servicing general aviation aircraft at IND. Million Air will manage and operate 57,000 square feet of facility and hangar storage space. Further enhancements to the recently constructed FBO terminal are planned to incorporate Million Air’s standard first-class amenities with anticipated completion by spring 2010.
Signature Flight Support's acquisition spree passed new milestones this fall. In October, Signature acquired Marathon Flight Services at Kissimmee, Fla., Gateway Airport and Carolina Air Center in Hilton Head, S.C. This month, Signature announced it had acquired Regent Aviation's FBOs in St. Paul and at the Rochester International Airport in Minnesota.
