Pentastar Aviation Recognized with NATA’s Aviation Maintenance Technician Employer Award

Pentastar Aviation has been recognized with a Three Star Award through the National Air Transportation Association’s (NATA) Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Employer Award Program. The award recognizes aviation maintenance organizations dedicated to providing quality maintenance services through the encouragement and support of AMT Training.

The Three Star Award received by Pentastar is based on the percentage of AMTs employed by a maintenance organization that participate in qualified training events. Three Star Award winners must achieve at least 75% of AMTs participating in qualified training events.

“A well-trained staff is a critical component to delivering industry-leading MRO services,” said Greg Schmidt, Pentastar President & CEO. “This award is a reflection of Pentastar’s steadfast commitment to professional development, continuous improvement and service excellence.”

Pentastar Aviation’s MRO division employs more than 80 team members and specializes in maintenance, avionics and interior services. Schmidt will attend the annual NATA Industry Excellence Awards Luncheon during NATA’s Aviation Business Conference in Washington, DC on June 9th to accept the award in person.

“NATA welcomes Pentastar Aviation to the AMT Employer Recognition Award program as a Three Star Award recipient. We are honored to recognize Pentastar that joins a dedicated group of aviation businesses that recognize continued AMT training is an investment in their employees, clients and operation. The high quality of services in our industry could not be achieved without the efforts of these businesses,” said NATA President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks.
