Signature Flight Support has added a dedicated sales team to provide personalized flight support services for operators in the EMEA regions. This team of seasoned aviation sales professionals works with customers on an individual basis to provide customized fuel, ground handling, concierge and aircraft storage solutions that complement their flying profile.
“We built our EMEA sales team on the model that has worked well for us in the United States; by understanding the needs of our customer, we formulate a comprehensive, customized portfolio based on the customer’s flying profile and specific needs. It is an example of Signature’s efforts to deliver world-class services globally,” said Joe Gibney, Vice President and Managing Director for Signature’s EMEA regions. “Private aviation is built to serve the needs of the individual customer, our flight support services facilitate that personal touch that they are striving for.”
The team coordinates customer requests with all of Signature’s 100 plus global locations to ensure seamless point to point services benefit the customer.
Steve Gulvin – Regional Vice President Sales EMEA
Gulvin was appointed RVP Sales for the EMEA region in 2011 having previously held the position of RVP Operations Europe since joining the company in 2005. An industry veteran with 30+ years in corporate aviation, Gulvin has worked with several prestigious companies including The Queens Flight, Dubai Airwing and The Presidential Flight of Abu Dhabi. The expertise gained from working with such VIP organisations combined with his FBO experience guarantees his team understands what customers look for in an FBO and ensures that Signature commits to exceeding customer expectations and competitor offerings.
Andrea Hopkins – Sales Manager Mainland Europe
Hopkins will be based in Signature Flight Support’s Paris Le Bourget facility. She will assist operators traveling to Signature’s France, Greece, Germany and Belgium based locations. She has worked in the region for over 12 years and has held management positions at Luton, Southampton and Nice.
Karl Bowles – Sales Manager Middle East
Bowles is based at Signature’s Middle East sales office in Bahrain and is responsible for managing customer relationships for the region. With significant traffic from the Middle East to Signature bases in both the EMEA and U.S regions, Bowles provides highly personalized solutions for each aircraft and its passengers and is currently developing a unique pricing program for his customer base. He also holds sales responsibility for Signature’s Cape Town FBO in Africa. Prior to joining Signature, Bowles served for over 20 years at a global international trip planning company.
Julian Moller – Sales Manager UK & Ireland
Moller is based at Signature London Luton and manages sales activities for the UK and Ireland. He has over 16 years of experience ranging from managing Signature London Luton’s operations and security to sales. Of particular note is Moller’s emphasis on Signature Shannon, an ideal tech stop to clear U.S. Customs and Immigration before continuing on to the United States. Signature Shannon also provides fueling and a full suite of FBO services and a passenger lounge. Moller is the main contact for customers wishing to visit the UK during the 2012 London Olympics.
Signature’s EMEA sales team is on hand at EBACE in Geneva, booth 827 in Hall 6 to assist operators with their questions and to learn more about Signature’s global network offering.
