Avplan Awards 1 Million Avtrip Points to Lucky Winner; Prize Donated to Veterans Charity - Operation Grateful Nation

Avplan Trip Support, the flight-planning company owned by Avfuel Corporation, has announced Jeffrey Reid, president of Houston-based Wing Aviation, as the winner of a drawing for 1 million AVTRIP points – the equivalent of a $10,000 U.S. Savings Bond - for using Avplan to plan an international trip.

 

Reid, an industry veteran with an impressive list of accomplishments, and Chairman of Wing Aviation, John Wing donated the AVTRIP award to Operation Grateful Nation, a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission it to build hope and sustainable futures for severely disabled veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan through career opportunities, education and assistance in life planning.

“My hope is that our donation will encourage others to help these kids who have done so much for our country,” Wing said.
