Execujet Africa | Security & Assistant Safety Officer & Security & Pilot

Purpose of the Job
The main objective of the position is to ensure that the daily security and safety operations are effectively controlled and functioning smoothly at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain the Company Security program
  • Carry out the effective implementation of the Company Security Program
  • Challenge procedures for unknown entities and personnel without proper authorization and identification
  • Auditing and appointing approved service providers where required
  • Ensure the maintenance and integrity of the SMS
  • Ensure that the highest possible safety standard is maintained
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management of ExecuJet from time to time
  • Assisting with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager

Requirements
Experience
  • A clear understanding of Part 121/135/140/91/61 operations with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Aircraft Commercial Field
  • A clear understanding of the SA CATS and CARS
  • 2 – 3 Years management experience (added advantage)
  • A good understanding of the training and licensing requirements as stated in Part 61

Qualifications
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Obtained ideally an ATP (Airline Transport Pilot License) License, CPL (Commercial Pilot License) with an Instrument rating, or an Aircraft Dispatcher License
  • Aviation security management course L3

Other Requirements
  • Knowledge of ICAO 9859 and 8973 guidelines
  • Recent extensive training and experience of a SMS at an approved organisation
  • Be a current Assistant Safety Manager at an acceptable air operator, or
  • Military /or Civil Authority equivalent to any of the above
  • Some QA experience (Operations or Maintenance)
